Thirty by the 30th

Simply: I'm trying to lose weight before the big 3-0. A little bit more: I'm trying to lose 30 lbs. through education, accountability, and networking. I want to have candid conversations about weight loss, food, fitness, nutrition, and health. I'm a writer by nature, so some posts may be more artsy and I'm okay with that. Hope you are too. I'm no expert nor am I certified in a particular health profession. I'm just a girl with a goal, an imagination and an internet connection.

Music Monday: "Kasabian" by Vlad the Impaler

This is a great song that will get you moving!

Little tidbit (thanks to Wikipedia): The lyric "Joker, meet you on the other side" is a tribute to the late Dark Knight actor Heath Ledger. Often when performed live Tom Meighan changes this line to "Heath Ledger, meet you on the other side."
