Race Day Photos- Proof of Completion!!

There are no actual photos of us running, BUT there are some photos before and after (hence the medals around our necks).  It felt good to run a second half.  I never thought three years ago that I would EVER run in a "race", let alone have a 10 miler, 5k (in brutal 95 degree weather) and two half-marathons under my belt.  It feels pretty good... and this all coming from someone who doesn't claim to be a "runner". 

To make myself run, I have to be enrolled in a race and have something to push myself towards.  My next fete: the 10k during the marine corps marathon.  I'm looking forward to running with that crowd!
